Founded in 1928, DeHavilland Canada became one of the world's great aircraft manufacturers. Starting out assembling British Moth planes, the company went on to design and build Bush, Utility, Military and Commuter aircraft. Some of their more famous planes, The Otter, Beaver, Chipmunk and Dash 7 & 8 planes are known around the world. DHC coined the term STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) which enabled their planes to land on tight runways, lakes and ice-fields. These classic caps carry the logo of quality DHC was known for.
